This is a re-print by Cornell University of an 1884 classic. As such, I am delighted I could get a print copy of my favorite poultry reference.My only letdown is that, to keep costs down, Cornell printed in very small fonts (approximately 6 pt or smaller). Thus, even with my reading glasses, this is a tedious read. Certainly, since it is POD, Cornell could set it in larger typeface and pass on the cost - even if they advise the buyer that they have such an option at such and such extra cost.
Had it been set in larger, more easily readable font size, I'd have rated it a 5 star, as there is no finer book available regarding raising poultry the old-fashioned way.
Again, if the font size is not of critical importance to you, do not hesitate to buy this Cornell University Library Digital Collections reprint of The New American Poultry Book.
